Magheroarty
‘Magheroarty’ is made from a piece of an oil drum or cooker which I found off the Donegal coast. The force of the sea crushed its shape, leaving the material to gain a personality of its own as an object of savage beauty. As an artist I do not manipulate the material much tending to enhance and preserve it in its natural form.
I hope appreciators can experience this piece for its rawness and truth.
